Amazing Anawangin!
I was able to tick Anawangin off of my bucket list a few months ago for a team building. I have seen it in photos and the actual experience did not disappoint me at all.

(The beach in front of our hotel)
The beach was good for skim boarding and I guess surfing as well. Small to medium waves came crashing in to the shore. I had fun wading in it.
We had to travel by land and boat, all in all it took about 40 minutes to reach Anawangin from the hotel in San Narciso.
The cruise to and from Anawangin was my most favorite part of the trip. I was in awe as we passed by some gorgeous mountains. They looked like they came out of a framed painting.

We were brave enough to play games under the scorching heat and after, my feet were literally burning.
The picture above is the campsite, I cannot wait to go back and experience it. Imagine cooking outdoors and having sunset drinks outside your tent. Oooh.
I guess if you were to go camping though, you must bring all your stuff cos there are stores there but the prices for their goods are a bit steep. There are tents to rent on site in case you don't have one.
Another tip, in the jump off to Anawangin, you can pay to use a resort's rest room in case you need to use the shower. I think there is one in the camp site as well.
Overall, the experience was great. The scenery alone made the journey well worth it. Plus of course the feeling of being close to nature is unbeatable.
