Life Updates

 Hello blog! It’s been a looong while. Last entry was 2018 and well I did go on a bit to the wedding blog I created back in 2017 (rizlwedschex.wordpress.com) and... really got busy.

Enough of my excuses, let me start!

2017 

My then-boyfriend now husband and I got married in a quaint church in Silang and had our reception in this dreamy cliff house called Cleeve Hills.

2018

Had a new job as an Assistant Manager for Comms at HSBC.

This year I also got pregnant. :)

2019

I gave birth to a sweet little boy who we named Irie. Irie is a term synonymous to joy, peace and contentment which was what we felt exactly once we laid eyes on our baby for the first time. 

*I will try to write a push blog entry hihi but I’m scared that might scare expecting moms lol

Covid happened and is still is, the way we tackle life nowadays is far from how we used to.. just thankful the whole family is safe and that I have a job and food on the table.

2021

Half way through 2021, why does time fly so fast? 

I have started a small business on IG where I sell crystals i personally curated. Crystals, they bring me joy! I love the vibe I get from them and they are just so pretty. They remind me of my intentions and aspects in life that I am currently working on.

I have been seeing a counsellor to help me address my anger management issues, it’s been more than a month and happy to report my progress. The crystals were important tools for this transition. Counsellor suggested that I write again so that I can be more aware of how I am feeling. I happily agreed, as I back read on this blog.. I had a smile on the entire time. My words and the photos reminded me of those experiences and how I felt in those times. It is amazing.

So blog, expect that I will write more often and thank you for always just being here waiting for me to come back! I love you and what you do to my spirit.
